Weimars meistbeschriebenes Blatt – wer es in seinen Händen hält, wird
es nie wieder verwechseln: das unvergleichliche Ginkgoblatt. Seine
eigenwillige Form ließ Goethe poetisch philosophieren über "Dieses
Baums Blatt", dessen "geheimen Sinn" er zuerst Marianne von Willemer zu
kosten gab. Seit er es ihr 1815 in seinem "West-Östlichen-Divan"
widmete, gilt das Blatt des Ginkgo biloba als Symbol für Liebe und
Zuneigung.
